This gorgeous little pub has transformed so much and I simply love it! What an addition to the area and a proper English pub with real ales and the best sausage roll by miles (my male work colleagues agree!) and an extensive wine list with over 20 whites and 20 reds for us girls. Check out the fire place in the back area, my favourite in the winter months to come. Also another good point: the shot wheel is gone!

I couldn't be happier that someone revamped this pub, it has given the end of the street a much needed facelift, there are lots of us around this area wondering where to bring some friends. This place is perfect, not overpriced on food, and with a menu full of hearty stuff. I was cheered up on my first visit on a wet winters day. I didn't realise until I read on another website that this was owned by brothers who also run The Well and a place called The Swan, I know the Well, but can't believe I've missed The Swan, apparently in EC1 too, so I was wrong there is life around here!
